Buy your first regional home sooner
The Regional First Home Buyer Guarantee is an Australian Government scheme that helps regional customers buy a home in designated regional areas.
You can use the Regional First Home Buyer Guarantee to build a new home or buy an existing home with a deposit of as little as 5%. Only eligible buyers who have lived in a regional area, or an adjacent regional area to where they are purchasing, for the preceding 12-month period (if applying as a joint application, then at least one applicant needs to meet this requirement) can apply. You can’t use the Regional Home Buyer Guarantee to buy an investment property.
Eligibility criteria
