Online banking | Bank anywhere and anytime - NAB

Why try NAB online banking (even if it’s not your thing)

If you prefer banking in person or you’re not confident with technology, you’re not alone. NAB online banking is designed to be simple, with helpful tools and extra security options so you can bank when it suits you—without giving up control.

Save time and avoid queues

Check balances, transfer money and pay bills from home or on the go using the NAB app or NAB Internet Banking.

Example: you can pay a last‑minute bill from the couch instead of travelling to a branch.

Feel safer with added protection

NAB monitors high‑risk transactions and investigates suspected fraud, and you can add extra security like biometric login and SMS Security for certain actions.

Example: approve logins and certain payments with a one‑time SMS code, or use Face ID / fingerprint to sign in.

Fix issues faster

Block or unblock a card immediately if it’s lost or you see something you don’t recognise.

Example: if you can’t find your wallet, you can temporarily block the card straight away, then unblock it if it turns up.

Keep better records

Download statements when you need them and store digital receipts to make tax time and warranties easier.

Example: pull up a statement for a rental application or find a receipt when returning an item.

Make payments easier

Use PayID® (a mobile number or email) instead of remembering BSBs and account numbers, while still being able to pay the usual way if you prefer.

Example: send money to a family member using their mobile number, rather than double‑checking account details.

Stay on top of your money

Use online tools to track spending, review transactions and adjust settings (like transfer limits) so you can manage your budget with confidence.

Example: check where your money went this week, then lower your daily transfer limit for extra peace of mind.

Our tip. Start small.

Log in just to check your balance or view a recent transaction. Once you’re comfortable, try one simple transfer or bill payment. If you ever feel unsure, you can switch back to in‑branch or phone banking anytime.
