About Digital, Design and Data
Our Digital, Design and Data teams work collaboratively to deliver digital products and services for our customers and colleagues. By integrating design into the end-to-end delivery model and using data led decisions together the team create seamless experiences, deeper personalisation, and better customer outcomes.
Digital
With over 98% of all customer interactions with NAB via digital channels, our Digital team play an instrumental role in delivering on NAB’s strategic vision. The team work closely with NAB’s technology teams and customer experience designers to deliver effortless digital experiences so that our colleagues and customers can easily and safely bank with NAB.
Design
The Design team own the overall design strategy and are accountable for the design of end-to-end experiences at NAB across digital, physical, and human channels. The team create value by being excellent partners, and using a consistent design process with well-defined outcomes, outputs & accountabilities.
Data
Our Data team is at the core of all activity. By unlocking data to provide insights and drive impactful decisions, we can enhance our offerings, better serve our customers and transform our business.
What we look for in a Digital, Design and Data graduate
We’re looking for curious graduates who are passionate about innovation and technology and are keen to leverage the power of data to create customer value through better customer and colleague experiences. Our graduates are comfortable working in cross-functional teams, are flexible, can adapt at pace and enjoy planning and executing projects. The work you’ll do in Digital, Design and Data
You may complete the following activities during your rotation in Digital:
- Change Analyst: deliver change work, assess change impacts, develop stakeholder management, and create engagement and communication strategies
- Business Analyst: capture and groom requirements, assess existing processes, produce conceptual designs and business cases, prepare reports, and manage project activities
- Product Analyst: represent the voice of the customer, work within cross functional teams, define and execute on the backlog of initiatives
- Operations: provide support to the Operations team by managing communications, ensuring timely inputs from key stakeholders, and content management.
You may complete the following activities during your rotation in Design:
- Service Design: gain experience in various design techniques such as journey mapping, service blueprints, research, testing, workshops, co-design, prototyping, storyboards, accessibility, and design documentation.
- Product Design: gain experience in various design techniques such as journey mapping, research, interviews, testing, benchmarking, accessibility, storyboards, user flows, prototyping, and interaction design.
- Design Operations: support reporting, resource management, and events management.
- Design Systems: gain experience in design systems, digital layouts, responsive design, accessibility, collaboration, and communication.
You may complete the following activities during your rotation in Data:
- Data Science: use analytical capabilities to help make data-driven decisions and apply analytics to discover insights.
- Process Engineering: use process engineering methodologies to drive operational excellence, process automation, and process standardisation.
- Technical Operations: manage technical operations from the ground up including planning, communications, and execution.

Where Digital, Design and Data can take you
As a graduate, you’ll have the opportunity post program to transition to a service designer, product designer, business analyst, change analyst, domain operations, product analyst or content writer, to name a few.
