How the Regional and Agribusiness Graduate Program works
Our program is for recent graduates who are committed to the future of agribusiness and are looking to start a career in regional or rural Australia.

Our team comprises of over 650 regional and agribusiness bankers in more than 120 locations across regional and rural Australia. As Australia's largest lender to agricultural business, you’ll play an integral role in supporting our agribusiness customers. We’ve developed a deep understanding of agriculture in Australia and we use our specialist knowledge and expertise to deliver sustainable solutions.
On successful completion of the program, graduates will successfully transition into an associate role supporting bankers with the customer management of their portfolio.

Eligibility for our Regional and Agribusiness Program
We’re interested in people who have a passion for living and working in regional Australia and have a genuine desire to deliver exceptional outcomes for regional and agribusiness customers.
You’ll need to make sure you meet the following requirements.
Citizenship and visa requirements
You’ll need to be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or be an Australian permanent resident at the time of applying for the program.
Tertiary education requirements
You’ll need to have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in business, economics, agribusiness or commerce.
Available to work in regional or rural Australia
You’ll need to be able to work across regional locations or willing to relocate to one of the 120 NAB Regional and Agribusiness Centres across Australia.
If you have a preferred location, we’ll try to accommodate it your wishes where possible. However, an ongoing ability to relocate will benefit your career progression within NAB, exposing you to different locations, industries and experiences.
Application and selection process
You can check our job listings, opens in new window to see whether the Regional and Agribusiness Graduate Program is accepting applications. If applications are open you’ll be required to submit an application form and complete an online assessment. You can take the online assessment anywhere you have internet access.
The online assessment involves logical reasoning, a multitasking assessment and a personality assessment. If you’re successful, you’ll then be invited to interview with our Regional and Agribusiness team.
