What is Qantas Business Rewards?

Qantas Business Rewards is a loyalty program that connects Australian SMEs with a range of services and products that make doing business even more rewarding. Whether you’re a sole trader or a growing enterprise, travel a little or a lot, joining Qantas Business Rewards unlocks exclusive value for business owners and their employees.

Earn Qantas Points for your business when flying for work, and for business expenses on the ground. This is on top of what you and your employees already receive as Qantas Frequent Flyers.

Qantas Points earned by the business go into a business account and can be used in all the same ways as Qantas Points earned into a Frequent Flyer account - to reward themselves or reinvest back into the business.

Why are we changing from Qantas Frequent Flyer to Qantas Business Rewards?

We are changing from Qantas Frequent Flyer to Qantas Business Rewards to align the rewards proposition with our business card offering to better service our customers. Qantas Business Rewards offers a targeted business proposition and is designed for small to medium sized businesses and provides additional benefits for our customers. 

When will this change come into effect?

The change will come into effect from the opening date of your December 2023 statement. From this date you will start earning points to your Qantas Business Rewards account as long as you have the same ABN registered in your Qantas Business Rewards account as in your NAB Qantas Business Signature Card.

Why wasn’t I told about this change as a cardholder?

All existing Qantas Business Signature facility owners received communication regarding the change with minimum 30 days advanced notice. It is up to facility owners to then notify their cardholders about this change.

How do I join Qantas Business Rewards?

If you are not an existing Qantas Business Rewards member you will need to join the program to start earning points. You can do this by registering your ABN details with Qantas. A one-off joining fee of $89.50 will be waived for businesses with a NAB Qantas Business Signature Card who join by visiting qantas.com/nabqbr, opens in new window or by calling 13 74 78.

Do I need to let NAB know when I have joined Qantas Business Rewards?

If you’re an existing Qantas Business Rewards member you won’t need to do anything, you’ll automatically start earning Qantas Points as long as the same ABN is used for the NAB Qantas Business Signature Card and the Qantas Business Rewards account. Business owners who are not existing Qantas Business Rewards members must join the program in order to start earning Qantas Points and use the same ABN provided with their NAB Qantas Business Signature Card. When registering for Qantas Business Rewards, it says that my ABN is already registered. Why is this appearing?

There can only be one registered Qantas Business Rewards account per ABN, therefore it may mean that the facility has already been registered. Please use the request access button which appears online, call the Qantas Business Rewards Service Centre on 13 74 78 between 7AM and 7PM (AEST) Monday to Friday. Qantas will investigate and discuss how to resolve this issue with you.

How do I activate my Qantas Business Rewards account?

You must register and activate your Qantas Business Rewards account to receive Qantas Points. You can do this at activate your account, opens in new window. You will need to enter the same email address that was used to sign up to the Qantas Business Rewards program.

What happens to my points if I don’t register for Qantas Business Rewards by November 30?

Points will still accrue, however, they will not be allocated if the ABN linked to your facility is not a registered and active Qantas Business Rewards account.

What will my points earn rate be once we move to Qantas Business Rewards?

You will continue to earn Qantas Points at the same rate of 1 Qantas Point per $1.50 spent but they will be aggregated to your company’s ABN. The points cap will remain at $50,000 per card per statement period.

Who receives Qantas Points on my business credit card once we move to Qantas Business Rewards?

The ABN connected to the business credit card and Qantas Business Rewards membership account will be awarded the Qantas Points. If you are a member of a Qantas Business Rewards account, you will be able to log in to Qantas Business Rewards, opens in new window to view your points balance and take advantage of all the benefits associated with this membership.

Why don’t additional cardholders earn Qantas Points anymore?

Qantas Business Rewards differs to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program in that Qantas Frequent Flyer is a loyalty program designed for individuals, whereas Qantas Business Rewards offers a targeted business proposition. Qantas Points are earned at a business or entity level and can either be directly redeemed from the Qantas Business Rewards account or be transferred to any individual Qantas Frequent Flyer account.

How will the points be allocated to cardholders?

Qantas Points are earned at a business or entity level, from here the business owner can log in to their Qantas Business Rewards, opens in new window account and redeem the points for the business, or transfer points to any Qantas Frequent Flyer member, as long as the business account has a balance of at least 3,000 Qantas Points.

Do I need a new physical card?

No, you will not need a new physical card.

What do I do if my Qantas Business Rewards ABN is different to the ABN provided for my NAB Qantas Business Signature card?

To earn Qantas Points, the ABN registered in your Qantas Business Rewards account must be the same as your NAB Qantas Business Signature Card.

What if I have forgotten my Qantas Business Rewards email address or password?

If you have forgotten the email address you registered when you joined Qantas Business Rewards, please call the Qantas Business Rewards Service Centre on 13 74 78 (Option 1) between 7am to 7pm AEST, Monday to Friday. If you have forgotten your password please click on the “Forgot Password” link when you try to log in to your account and follow the reset instructions
