  • Infrastructure for electric vehicles, including electric vehicle charging stations
  • Hydrogen powered vehicles
  • Electric equipment for construction, agriculture, development, distribution and waste collection or management, e.g. electric mobile cranes, electric forklifts and electric earthmoving equipment.
Eligibility requirements
We’ll need a tax invoice and may require additional evidence specifying the make, model and engine capacity. Additional information may be required including information about use of the asset and its emissions, and confirmation of the power source.
Renewable energy
Eligible asset type
  • Onshore solar electricity assets including solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, inverters and solar thermal equipment including pumps
  • Assets used to generate electricity from onshore wind power
  • Batteries and battery storage as part of a renewable energy system.
Eligibility requirements

We'll need a tax invoice and may require additional evidence including (but not limited to) a project plan or scope of works which clearly identifies the assets being financed and their particular costs within a project.

Manufacturing
Eligible asset type
  • Equipment that is wholly dedicated to the manufacturing of the key components used in zero emissions transport, solar and wind energy generation, and related battery storage.
Eligibility requirements
Specific eligibility requirements apply, speak to a NAB business banker for more details. Additionally, a minimum finance amount may apply to be eligible.
Energy efficient agricultural equipment
Eligible asset type
  • Energy efficient tractors
  • Best in class (measured by emissions) combine, cotton and  sugar cane harvesters with engines that meet Tier 4 (US) or Stage 4/5 (Europe) emission standards
  • Energy efficient irrigation – new or additional irrigation which has both variable speed drives and variable rate application, and is powered by a solar pump.
Eligibility requirements

Eligibility is subject to NAB assessment on a case-by-case basis. To assess eligibility for tractors and harvesters we'll need a tax invoice specifying the make, model and series. For irrigation equipment we’ll need to confirm that it is solar powered, the tax invoice must note variable speed drive and variable rate application.

Lighting
Eligible asset type
  • LED lighting used in commercial premises
  • Mobile LED lighting, including lighting trailers used at construction sites and roadworks.
Eligibility requirements

We’ll need a tax invoice specifying the make, model, supplier and clear evidence the lighting will be installed in a commercial premises (not residential). For mobile LED lighting, a tax invoice must provide evidence the equipment it is solar powered with battery. Additional criteria may apply.

Waste management and recycling
Eligible asset type
  • Recycling assets including recycling bins, equipment used in sorting facilities, equipment used to process recyclable waste into secondary raw materials, equipment used in facilities that collect, sort, clean, refurbish, recondition or repair products which are put back to original use without any further processing.
