Why follow this guide?

  • Simple transaction history enables you to view/download/export transactions for an account, displayed with running balances of the account and with fast payment information and international payment tracking.
  • Advanced transaction history enables you to view/download/export filtered transactions for one or more of your accounts and group of accounts.
  • Advanced transaction history has multiple export formats to suit some accounting packages. 
  • Advanced transaction history provides users with the ability to download a statement like report for filtered transactions.
  • View or print a list of transactions that are not yet on a statement.

Download a Simple transaction history report

A Simple transaction history report provides a view of your transactions with a running balance of your account. You’ll also be able to view additional Fast payment transfer details and tracking information for your international payment transfers.

Make sure you’re logged into NAB Connect to get started. 

  1. From the Accounts menu, select ‘Transaction history’.
  2. Select ‘Simple’ as your report view.
  3. Select an account you would like to be displayed.
  4. Select the ‘Period’ for which you would like transactions to be displayed.
  5. To view additional information for Fast payment or international transactions, click the arrow displayed next to the transaction line.
  6. Select ‘Export’ to download an extract of your report in a CSV format, or alternatively you can print a copy of your transactions.

Please note

  • Additional information for Fast payments and international transfers can be included in your printed reports by expanding the transaction line before printing.
  • Additional information for Fast payments and international transfers are not included when exporting a CSV file. 

Download an Advanced transaction history report

An Advanced transaction history report provides a view of your filtered transactions across one or more of your accounts. This also allows you to create a custom statement report for your transactions.

  1. From the Accounts menu, select ‘Transaction history’.
  2. Select ‘Advanced’ as your report view.
  3. Select a Report type from either ‘Transaction search’ or ‘Statement report’. 
    • Transaction search: Provides a transaction report of your filtered transactions within a date period for one or more accounts.
    • Statement report: Provides a custom statement report of your transactions within a date period for one or more accounts. 
  4. Select an existing report to view or to create a new report
  5. Select the period for which you would like transactions to be displayed.
  6. If you are searching for transactions on previous days, you can also include multiple accounts by choosing Select multiple/maintain groups.
  7. Click Display to show the filtered transactions.
  8. Select ‘Export’ to download an extract of your report in a CSV, PDF or QIF format, or alternatively you can print a copy of your transactions.
