Connection requirements
Your business will need to meet the following minimum requirements to connect.
Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) client software
Your SFTP client will need to establish connection via a port to the NAB hosts.
Refer to the NAB Connect Automated reporting guide you received when you joined or contact your NAB business banking representative for a copy.
Secure Socket Shell (SSH) Keys - public and private
- Cipher should be AES 256
- Configured as RSA/4096
- MAC should be SHA1/SHA2
IP address/es
- Static IP addresses are required for whitelisting
- Up to 20 IP address listings are available which can be comprised of individual, ranges, or a combination
- A range cannot exceed /28 subnet
- For cloud-based packages, static IP/s from the internet gateway exit point are required
Operating system requirements
Windows and UNIX based SFTP Clients are supported.
File requirements
Reporting files will meet NAB’s documented File format specifications.
