Instructions for creating a role
Before assigning responsibilities to your users, you must first create some additional roles. Here’s how it works:
- Sign in to NAB Gateway.
- From the left navigation panel, select Account Management.
- Select Roles.
- In the top right corner, select + Add new user role.
- Under ‘Basic Information’, create a name for the role under Role Name.
- Under ‘Permission’, select the permissions you want to assign to this role. Once you have selected a permission, it will appear under the ‘Selected’ section on the right-hand side.
- Select Save once you have selected all the permissions you want for this role.
Instructions for creating a user
Here’s how to create an account for each user in your organisation that will be using NAB Gateway.
- Sign in to NAB Gateway.
- From the left navigation panel, select Account Management.
- Select Users.
- In the top right corner, select + Create User.
- Please ensure that the user consents to sharing these details with NAB and is sent the following link to NAB’s privacy policy.
- Under ‘Basic Information’, complete as follows:
- First Name - Enter the new user’s first name.
- Last Name - Enter the new user’s last name.
- Username (optional) - Enter a username for the new user.
Please note: if you leave the Username field blank, the user can create their own username when they create an account. - Role - select and assign an existing role to the new user.
- Under ‘Recovery Information’, under ‘Email Address’, enter the user’s email address.
- Select Save.
Please note: Until your user has fully activated their account, their details will not display on the Users list .
The new user will receive a Cybersource Business Centre welcome email from donotreply@support.cybersource.com, opens in new window. This will contain a link to login and instructions to create an account.
Re-issue User welcome email/expired activation link
Sometimes your user can forget to complete their user creation within 24 hours. As their admin, you can re-issue a new user creation email by repeating step 1-7 above.
