What does EFTPOS settlement mean?
Settlement is the transfer of funds received from EFTPOS, NAB Debit card and credit card payments into your business transaction account. This is the process you must complete at the end of each day so you can be paid for your transactions.
Setting up manual settlement on EFTPOS terminal Ingenico
- Press Menu on your home screen.
- Press 3 for Batch then 1 to Settle.
- Press Yes to print your transaction list.
Important:
- You can only settle manually when auto-settlement is disabled on your terminal.
- Your terminal settles once within 24 hours at 9.30pm AEST. This is a default time setup by your technician but you can change this by following our steps on automatic settlements of your terminal.
Setting up auto-settlements on EFTPOS terminal Ingenico
- Press Func, then 13 and Enter.
- Press Enter to change time displayed. Enter new automatic settlement time in 24 hour format (for example, 8pm is 20:00). Press Cancel to exit.
Helpful hint: The new automatic settlement time starts the next day.
Pre-settle EFTPOS terminal Ingenico
- Select the Menu button on the home screen.
- Choose 3 for Batch then 4 for Batch Totals.
- Choose Yes to print your transaction list.
- Performing this function does not settle your terminal.
Disabling auto-settlement on EFTPOS terminal Ingenico
- Press Func, then 13 and Enter.
- Press Enter to change time displayed.
- Enter your new automatic settlement time in this format 00:00 and press Enter.
Viewing your last settlement on EFTPOS terminal Ingenico
- Press Menu on your home screen, and press 3 for Batch Pre-settlement totals.
- Press 2 for Last Settlement.
Important: Printing or viewing your transactions doesn't mean your terminal is settled. You'll have to do this separately. Find out how to settle your terminal automatically or settle your terminal manually.
