Guides for using your terminal
Getting started

- Enter the sale amount using the number keys on the PIN-PAD and press the ENTER key, or press "Confirm payment" on the screen to continue.
Note: For correction, press the "<-" key to clear the value, or “X” to cancel. - Ask the cardholder to TAP, INSERT or SWIPE their card on the machine.
- For INSERT and SWIPE, cardholders will be prompted to select their account (Cheque, Savings or Credit).
- Cardholders will be prompted to enter their PIN and press ‘ENTER’ if they inserted or swiped.
Note: If the cardholder taps, they won’t need to enter their PIN or sign for amounts less than $100. If the amount is between $100 and $200, the cardholder may need to enter their PIN, depending on the card issuer. For amounts over $200 the cardholder will need to enter their PIN. - Once the payment has been processed, the screen will display either ‘Approved’ or ‘Declined’. Remove the card if it was inserted.
- The terminal will print the merchant receipt with a prompt to print a customer copy.

- Press "Merchant menu" on the screen, and select "Refunds".
- Enter the refund passcode and press the ENTER key, or press "OK" on the screen to continue.
- Enter the refund amount using the number keys on the key pad.
- Press the ENTER key or press "Confirm refund" on the screen.
- Ask the cardholder to TAP, INSERT or SWIPE their card on the machine.
- On the PIN entry screen, ask the cardholder to enter their PIN or Press ENTER.
- For INSERT and SWIPE, cardholders will be prompted to select their account (Cheque, Savings or Credit).
- Once processed, the screen will display ‘Approved’ or ‘Declined’.
- The terminal will print the merchant receipt with a prompt to print a customer copy.

- Press "Merchant menu" on the screen, then select "Settlements".
- Select "Manual Settlement", then "Settle Now".
- Machine will print a Settlement receipt with a prompt to print transaction list.
Note: If settlement has already happened, “Already Settled” will display on the terminal screen. If auto settle is turned on, you can’t perform a manual settlement until this is turned off.
Everyday tasks

- Press "Merchant menu" on the screen, then select "Settlements".
- Select "Auto settlement" on the screen.
- You can turn on (enable) or turn off (disable) auto settlement. When enabled, select ‘Choose a different time’ to settle at a different time.
Note: Auto-settlement must be configured for each terminal.

- Press "Merchant menu" on the screen, then select "Settlements".
- Select "Last Settlement".
- The machine will print a Last Settlement receipt with a prompt to print transaction list.
Maintenance

- Press ‘Merchant menu’ on the screen, select ‘Transactions’ and ‘Stationery order’.
- A prompt will appear asking 'Would you like to order printer rolls? (a box of 20)’.
Note:- Limited to one order per day.
- Unit Price: $14.87 per box, including GST.
- Press ‘Place order’ and then press ‘Yes’ when ordering stationery. You will receive your order in 2 to 5 business days.

- Open the paper compartment located at top of the screen by holding the terminal and lifting sides of printer lid upwards and back.
- Insert the paper roll in compartment. When the paper roll is in place, ensure paper feeds from the bottom of the roll and towards the terminal screen.
- Pull the paper up towards the top of the terminal and hold. Close the lid until you hear a click sound to ensure lid has been closed properly.
Note: A "Printer error - Printer is out of paper." error will appear on the terminal screen if paper runs out while printing the receipt. Load more paper and press ‘Retry’.
Press ‘Merchant Receipt’ to print or reprint the merchant receipt or ‘Skip’ to skip printing the merchant receipt.
Press ‘Customer Receipt’ to print the customer receipt or ‘Skip’ to skip printing the customer receipt.
