How to start a business in Australia
Register your business name
Enter your company information with EasyCompanies to check your company name is available. Then they'll get your business registered with the relevant bodies like ASIC, and your ABN or ACN sorted. From there, choose additional start-up services you need, like domain name and email.
Receive your documents via email
You’ll then be emailed all the official documents for your new business, including confirmation for all the services you selected as soon as they’re approved (such as ABN, ACN, ASIC certificate, company register, domain details and tax receipt). If you have registered a company, EasyCompanies will provide you with the legal documents necessary to support your company's registration including company constitution, director consents, share certificates and minutes.

Once received, you're ready to set-up a business bank account with NAB and get started with trading, issuing invoices, receiving revenue and building your business.
