When you need to consent to changes

When you (or your co-borrower if you have one) contact a banker to make changes to your home loan, you will be asked to provide your consent (agreement) for the changes. Often this consent is provided by signing a change document, but for some simple changes consent can be provided digitally through the NAB app.

Things to know about digital consent for home loan changes

  • Eligibility criteria apply. Your banker will tell you if you are eligible.
  • All account owners will be notified via SMS that they need to review and approve the changes that have been requested on their home loan.
  • All account owners will need the latest version of the NAB app and a personal login.
  • All account owners must review and provide consent within 48 hours (the request will expire after 48 hours from the time the banker submits the changes).
