Changes to NAB Debit Card
We’re no longer offering the NAB Debit Card to customers outside the age range of 8 to 13 years.
During 2025, we’ll be informing existing NAB Debit cardholders about how this change will impact them.
What this means for your existing card
- If we notify you that your card will be cancelled, please destroy your physical NAB Debit Card by the cancellation date outlined in our communication to you. Cut it in half, making sure you cut through the card number, magnetic strip and microchip.
- If your existing NAB Debit Card is due to expire, you’ll still receive a replacement which you can use up until the cancellation date on your notification.
- If your existing NAB Debit Card is lost or stolen, you can still block your card and receive a replacement up until the cancellation date on your notification.
How to access money from your account
If we notify you that we’re cancelling your existing NAB Debit Card, you can still access money in your account by:
- transferring funds from your linked account to another account using NAB Internet Banking and the NAB app
- linking your account to another NAB card to use at an ATM or EFTPOS (see more details below)
