Important Upcoming personal card changes
From 23 June 2025, we’re increasing fees on our NAB Personal credit cards (excluding NAB StraightUp Card). The late payment fee will increase from $15 to $20. The cash advance fee will increase from 3% or $3 (whichever is greater) to 3.5% or $3.50 (whichever is greater).

Upcoming Complimentary Insurance changes
Effective 1 July 2025 – For some NAB cards, excesses for certain covers will increase, and benefit limits will reduce under International Travel Insurance.
Effective 15 May 2026 – For some NAB cards, International Travel, Domestic Travel and Rental Vehicle Excess Insurances will be removed. For some other NAB cards, the cover period for International Travel Insurance will be reduced.

Step 1. Applying online is easy
Allow up to 15 minutes to complete the application form and get a response in 60 seconds.
Step 2. We’ll verify your application
If you’re conditionally approved, we may ask you for additional information or documentation, such as payslips or bank statements.
Step 3. Receive and activate your card
If approved, your physical card will arrive at your residential address within five to seven working days, or up to ten working days if you requested the card be sent to a branch. Activate and set up your new card using the NAB app or NAB Internet Banking.
