Regular repayments

Did you know that you can automate repaying your personal loan with regular repayments?

If you don’t already have an automatic payment set up for your personal loan, follow this guide to set up regular repayments using NAB Internet Banking or the NAB app.

Remember, you’ll need to adjust your regular repayments if your contracted repayment amount changes for your personal loan.

How to set up regular repayments

NAB Internet Banking

Set up a regular repayment via NAB Internet Banking.

  1. Log in to NAB Internet Banking, opens in new window.
  2. Select Transfer & Pay from the top menu.
  3. Select Transfer in the drop-down menu.
  4. In the drop-down menu, select your NAB transaction account to ‘Transfer from’.
  5. Select your NAB Personal Loan account as the ‘Transfer to’.
  6. Enter the Amount.
  7. For ‘When’ select Recurring.
  8. In the drop-down menu, select a Frequency.
  9. Set ‘start date’ as the date of your next repayment.
  10. Payments are set to ‘Until further notice’ by default.
  11. Select Next.
  12. Check all details are correct and select Confirm.

NAB app

Set up a regular repayment via the NAB app.

  1. Log in to the NAB app.
  2. Tap Transfer & pay.
  3. Select your NAB transaction account you’d like to ‘transfer from’.
  4. Tap Transfer and select the account you’d like to ‘transfer to’.
  5. Enter the Amount.
  6. Tap Pay When and then Recurring.
  7. Tap Frequency and select from the options listed.
  8. Tap Set start date and select the date of your next repayment.
  9. Payments are set to ‘Until further notice’ by default. To continue, tap Apply.
  10. Tap Next.
  11. Confirm all details are correct and tap Pay.
