Daylight savings dates

NAB Connect cut-off times are based on Melbourne and Sydney local times (AEDT/AEST). As these time zones transition between AEDT and AEST, payment cut-off times will also transition accordingly.

Daylight savings will end in the early hours of Sunday 6 April 2025 in the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria.

For customers in the Northern Territory, Queensland and Western Australia, the payment cut-off times for the processing of domestic, international, BPAY, direct credit, direct debit and payroll payments will be one hour earlier from Monday 7 April 2025.

Public holiday information

All payments, except for those mentioned in the table, will be processed as normal. However, payments may not be processed where there are insufficient funds in your account or limits are exceeded.

To ensure beneficiaries receive their funds on the nominated date of payment:

  1.  Submit and authorise your payments early. Ensure your payments have been submitted and are fully authorised in advance.
  2. Future date your payments. BPAY, Fast payments, direct credit, direct debit, domestic and payroll payments can be submitted up to 90 days in advance. International 'Bank to convert', ’NFCA’ and ‘FX deal’ payments can be submitted up to 10 business days in advance. Please note that this is dependent on the rate source used.
