About the NAB EFTPOS replacement program

Telstra is shutting down the 3G network. From June 2024, 3G NAB EFTPOS machines can no longer process transactions.

To prepare for the Telstra shutdown and to keep your business moving, we're replacing all 3G NAB EFTPOS machines. We’re also extending this replacement to select 4G Standalone Ingenico machines.

Will my new NAB EFTPOS machine have the same functionality as my current device?

Yes, your new NAB EFTPOS machine will have the same features and functionality as your current device.

Can I keep my old NAB EFTPOS machine?

No, as part of the replacement program, an Ingenico technician will collect your old machine.

To assist the technician, please have your old machine accessible on site for collection.

What time is a technician available to install my new EFTPOS machine?

An Ingenico technician will contact you to arrange a time that suits you. They are available between Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm (AEST/AEDT).

Is NAB replacing all of my EFTPOS machines?

The replacement program will impact all 3G NAB EFTPOS machines and select 4G standalone devices.

Can I delay my NAB EFTPOS machine replacement?

No, to ensure minimal disruptions to your business we will be replacing your device as soon as possible.

Will my pricing change due to the replacement program?

There will be no changes to your current EFTPOS terminal rental fees for this replacement. We’ll contact you if there are any future pricing changes.

How do I accept MOTO payments on my NAB EFTPOS machine?

If you’ve been set up for MOTO payments, simply navigate to Merchant Menu, Transactions, Moto and follow the prompts.

Please note, you will need the latest version of the software to process MOTO transactions.

How can I resolve connection problems with my new NAB EFTPOS machine?

Try rebooting your terminal by navigating to Merchant Menu, Settings, and Restart Device.

If this does not resolve your issue, carefully remove the back cover, then disconnect and reconnect the battery. Press the ENTER button to turn the terminal ON.

How do I order printing paper rolls for my new NAB EFTPOS machine?

You can order stationary on your machine with the latest version of software (version 1.5).

To order stationary, select “Merchant Menu” press “Transactions” and “Order Stationary.” Press “Yes” to order a box of 20 paper rolls (limited to one order per day). You will receive your order in 2 to 5 business days.
