Things to know about different login options
- Biometric authentication, such as Face ID or fingerprints, is a secure way to access online banking apps and accounts without needing to remember complex passwords.
- Passwords and passcodes can also be used to access online banking apps and authorise transactions.
- Make sure you choose strong and unique passwords and don’t share them with anyone or write them down.
Steps to set up login options

Log into the NAB app on your device.

Tap More if using iOS. Tap the Menu icon if using Android.

Tap Settings.

Tap Security.

Tap Face ID if using iOS. Tap Biometric login if using Android.

To log into the NAB app with Face ID using iOS, tap Turn on Face ID. To log into the NAB app with biometrics if using Android, tap Turn on biometric login.

Face ID will be activated. Tap OK, got it to finish if using iOS. Biometric login is turned on. Tap OK, got it to finish if using Android.

To authorise payments with a four-digit passcode instead of your password, tap Passcode. You’ll use your passcode if Face ID or biometric login fails.

Tap Set up passcode.

Enter your current password. Then tap Next.

Enter your new four-digit passcode.

Confirm your new passcode.

Your passcode is now set up. Tap Ok, got it to finish.
