Important Upcoming complimentary insurance changes
Effective 1 July 2025 - For some NAB cards, excesses for certain covers will increase, benefit limits will reduce under International Travel Insurance.
Effective 15 May 2026 - For some NAB cards, International Travel, Domestic Travel and Rental Vehicle Excess Insurances will be removed. For some other NAB cards, the cover period for International Travel Insurance will be reduced.

Have your NAB IDYour NAB ID is an 8 to 10 digit number given to you when you first become a NAB customer. There are three ways to find your NAB ID: 1. We send it to you via email and SMS when you first become a customer. 2. On the back of your credit card or debit card, above the magnetic strip. Not all cards have this. 3. In the NAB app once you've registered for internet banking. Your NAB ID can be found under More and then My Details. This option is only available for personal profiles (not business ones). and password ready to use

If you’re a resident of any other country for tax purposes, you’ll need to provide the relevant taxpayer identification number (TIN). For more information read our helpful taxpayer identification number guide (PDF, 194KB), opens in new window.
If you don’t have a TIN due to exceptional circumstances, you’ll need to open your account by visiting us in a branch or by calling us on 13 22 65.

Electronic statements
- We’ll deliver your account statements electronically for the products selected unless you change your settings in NAB Internet Banking.
- You’ll need to check your account statements in NAB Internet Banking or the NAB app to ensure you report any unauthorised transactions.
- You should regularly check your emails from us about the delivery of your account statement/s.
- Make sure your email address and contact details are up to date. You can make changes to your details in NAB Internet Banking or the NAB app.
