How it works


You can withdraw cash or complete balance enquiries at NAB ATMs using the NAB Visa debit card in your digital wallet, similar to when you're paying for goods or services in stores using your digital wallet.

1. Select a digital wallet

You can use Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and Garmin Pay on your phone or watch. 

2. Add a Visa debit card to your digital wallet

Add your NAB Visa Debit card or NAB Business Visa Debit card to your digital wallet. It’s quick and easy. Follow our simple steps to learn how.

3. Use your digital wallet at a NAB ATM

Forgot your physical card? No worries. Open your digital wallet to withdraw cash or check your balance at any NAB ATM.

Benefits of using your digital wallet at an ATM

  • If you’ve added your NAB Visa debit card to your digital wallet, but you’ve misplaced and put a temporary block on your physical card, you’ll still be able to withdraw cash using the card in your digital wallet.

  •  If you’ve permanently blocked your card and are waiting for a replacement card to be sent, your digital wallet will be automatically updated with the new card number instantaneously, so you can continue to use the card in your digital wallet.

  • It’s secure and convenient. Digital wallets have built in security features that protect your card details at ATMs. It’s important to remember though, that you need to follow security tips for mobile devices to keep your digital wallet and accounts protected. 

How to use your digital wallet at an ATM

Follow our simple instructions to start using your digital wallet to withdraw cash or complete a balance enquiry at NAB ATMs (not available using non-NAB ATMs in Australia or overseas).

  1. Using your device (phone or watch), open your digital wallet and select your NAB Visa Debit card.

  2. Tap your device at a NAB ATM.

  3. Enter your PIN when prompted by the ATM.

  4. You’ll then have the option to either withdraw cash or perform a balance enquiry.

  • Making deposits, transfers, or PIN resets are not available using your digital wallet
