Things to know about making one-off and regular payments
- You won’t get a security code to transfer money between your own NAB accounts.
- There’s no daily limit to transfer money between your own NAB accounts.
- You can make one-off transfers to avoid being caught short while out shopping as transfers between your NAB accounts is instant.
- You can schedule your transfers for a later date or pay now.
- You can choose to make the transfer recurring and choose the frequency of the payment.
- Regular deposits can help you stick to your savings plan and can also earn you bonus interest eligible on some accounts like the NAB Reward Saver.
Steps to transfer money between your accounts
NAB app
Instructions for iOS™ devices

Log into the NAB app.

Tap Transfer & pay.

Select the account you’d like to transfer from and tap Transfer.

Select the account you’d like to transfer to.

Enter the ‘Amount’.

Enter a reference (optional).

By default, Pay when will be set to today.

To schedule a payment for a later date, tap Pay when to change.

To set up regular payments or deposits tap Recurring.
- Tap Frequency
and select ‘Weekly’, ‘Fortnightly’, ‘Monthly’ or ‘Quarterly’.
- Tap Set start date and select your preferred date.
- Select ‘until further notice’, ‘set end date’ or ‘number of payments’.
- Tap Apply.

and select ‘Weekly’, ‘Fortnightly’, ‘Monthly’ or ‘Quarterly’.

Tap Next.

Confirm all details are correct and tap Pay now.

A payment receipt will be shown to confirm your transfer has been made.

Enter the amount.

Enter a description (optional).

By default, When is set to Today.

Review the transfer details and select Confirm.
