What is NAB Portal Pay?

NAB Portal Pay allows you to conveniently make secure payments to a payee (such as a real estate agent) via bank account or (where your payee has enabled) eligible card. You’ll have peace of mind using NAB Portal Pay, as all payments are secured by NAB.

Payer Reference Number (PRN)

Your PRN is your unique reference number used to identify the payee you'll be making a payment to. You won’t need to know any of their account details to make a payment (just your PRN) and we'll handle the rest for you.

Your PRN is provided by your payee. It may have arrived via email or phone, or it may be on a recent invoice you’ve received. If you’ve misplaced your PRN, contact your payee for help – NAB doesn’t hold these records.

Register for NAB Portal Pay

To make a payment through NAB Portal Pay, you will have to create a profile.

Once you’ve created your profile, you’ll be able to make secure payments to a payee using your PRN via direct debit (bank account) or card payments.

You’ll have the option to schedule one-off, future or recurring payments to your payees, so you can set and forget payments like rent. You’ll receive automated email communications to ensure you’re always up to date with your payments and you’ll have full access to your payment history.

Your PRN can be linked to more than one profile, which allows you to make payments for the same bill (such as your rent) from multiple profiles.

Remember to always keep your PRN secure to ensure only people you know can make payments to your payee.
