Things to know about online business statements
- You can access up to seven years of statements, including a variety of different types of statements such as proof of balance and interest statements.
- Online statements and letters offer more security and privacy than paper statements and correspondence that arrive in the post.
- By accessing your statements online through our secure online banking platforms, you can download them at any time.
How to access electronic business statements
Use the NAB app on your preferred device or NAB Internet Banking through a web browser to access your online business statements. We recommend changing to electronic statements if you haven’t done so already.
NAB app
Instructions for all mobile devices

Log into the NAB app on your device.

If using iOS, tap More. If using Android, tap the Menu icon.

Tap Settings.

Tap Statements.
-
Check the email address you’ve given us is correct.

Tap the accounts you want online statements for or choose Select all. Tap Update.

If you have joint accounts, the other account holder needs to repeat these steps too.

You’re now set up to receive online statements by email.
NAB Internet Banking
Instructions for web browsers

Log into NAB Internet Banking with your 8 to 10-digit NAB ID and password.

Select Profile & Settings in the top menu.

Choose ‘Statements settings’ in the drop-down menu.

Select Online Only for the accounts you want online statements for.

Check the email address is correct. If correct, select Update.

You’re now receiving online statements by email. If you have joint accounts, the other account holder needs to repeat these steps.
Steps to download business account statements
Use the NAB app on your preferred device or NAB Internet Banking through a web browser to download business account statements when you need them. You can access up to seven years’ worth of statements in NAB Internet Banking and up to two years’ worth in the NAB app.

Log into the NAB app on your device.

Tap the account you need a statement for.

Tap Statements.

Your statements will appear in order of closing date. Tap the statement date you need.

A security message will appear. Tap Ok to continue.

Tap Share to share or download your statement.
NAB Internet Banking
Instructions for web browsers

Log into NAB Internet Banking with your 8 to 10-digit NAB ID and password.

Select Accounts in the menu and choose ‘Account statements’ in the drop-down menu.

Choose the Account drop-down list that you want a statement for.

Select a time period from the Date range drop-down or enter a custom range. Select Search.

You can select up to 12 statements. Select Download.

Statements will appear in your browser’s downloads folder. View individual statements by selecting the date.

To access a statement for a closed account, select Accounts and choose Account Statements and then Closed Account.
Steps to download proof of balance statements
Use the NAB app on your preferred device or NAB Internet Banking through a web browser to download proof of balance statements.

Tap Proof of balance.

Read the information and tap Create report.

Your proof of balance statement will appear.

If using iOS, tap Share to export the document. If using Android, tap the three dots to export the document.
NAB Internet Banking

Log into NAB Internet Banking with your 8 to 10-digit NAB ID and password.

Look for Proof of Balance on the side panel and select Download.

Your balance statement will generate and save to your computer – typically in the downloads folder.

Double click the file to view your Proof of Balance statement.

You can save or print the Proof of Balance statement using the icons in the top right corner of the screen.
Steps to download business interest statements
Use the NAB app on your preferred device or NAB Internet Banking through a web browser to download business interest statements.

Tap Reports.

Tap Interest statement.

Tap the financial year you’d like an interest statement for. Tap Create report.

You can now view your interest statement for that financial year.

If using iOS, tap Share to export the document. If using Android, tap the three dots to export the document.
NAB Internet Banking

Log into NAB Internet Banking with your 8 to 10-digit NAB ID and password.

Select Accounts in the top menu.

Choose ‘interest statements’ from the drop-down menu.

Select the financial year you want an interest statement for.

You’ll see a list of accounts, with relevant interest and tax details.

Select Create CSV report or Create PDF report to export information in your preferred format.
Steps to download your recent business transactions
Use the NAB app on your preferred device or NAB Internet Banking through a web browser to download a PDF for your recent transactions.

Tap the account you need a statement for.

Tap Statements.

Tap Download your recent transactions.

Tap Date range and select a date from the list.

Tap Generate your PDF.

A PDF of your recent transactions will display.

If using iOS, tap Share to export the document. If using Android, tap the three dots to export the document.
NAB Internet Banking

Log into NAB Internet Banking with your 8 to 10-digit NAB ID and password.

Select the account you need a recent transaction statement for.

Select the box below Date range and choose the time period from the drop-down menu. Select Update transactions.

After the page refreshes, select Export and select preferred file type.

Your recent transaction statement will download to your computer or device.
Steps to download business statements for closed accounts
Use NAB Internet Banking through a web browser to access statements from closed accounts. You’ll be able to see up to seven years of statements from the day of the search.

Log into NAB Internet Banking with your 8 to 10 digit NAB ID and password.

Select Accounts.

Select Account statements, and then Closed or Hidden Accounts.
