Benefits for tenants

Once registered for the portal, tenants will be able to:

  • Choose how to pay their rent through the available payment options.
  • Make a one-off, scheduled or recurring payment.
  • View payment history.
  • Receive automated email reminders of upcoming scheduled and dishonoured payments.
  • Access to the portal and schedule payments at a time that suits them.
  • Access the NAB Portal Pay Support Hub.

What do I need to provide to a tenant to register for the Tenant Portal?

You will need to provide your tenant with their Payer Reference Number (PRN) and the Tenant Fact Sheet on how to register for the portal.

If you offer your tenants to pay through a bank account (Direct Debit), you need to ensure you supply each tenant with a copy of the Direct Debit Service Agreement (DDR-SA). This document is available in the NAB Portal Pay welcome email or can be requested from NAB Portal Pay Support. If a copy of this document is not provided to your tenants, you may be liable for any losses from disputes or claims.
