The following NAB cards include complimentary rental vehicle excess insurance in Australia.
Eligible purchases
Cover may be available if the entire payment for the vehicle rental was charged to the account holder’s card account and your rental vehicle agreement specifies an amount that is payable in the event the rental vehicle is damaged or stolen while in your custody.
Policy coverage
Designed to cover you where your rental vehicle was rented in Australia and is involved in an accident while you are driving it or is damaged or stolen.

This insurance covers the lesser of, the amount of excess you are liable for under the rental agreement or property damage for which you are liable up to $10,000 for Level 1 Cards and $5,000 for Level 2 Cards.
