Things to know about NAB Alerts
- You can set up balance alerts, credit card payment reminders or funds transfers alerts.
- You can update your preferences, details or cancel the service anytime.
- The NAB Alerts service is free of charge.
- Check that your mobile number and email address are correct in NAB Internet Banking under the Profile & Settings menu before you start.
- If after five consecutive return deliveries to the nominated email address we cannot complete an email alert, your NAB Alerts will be disabled and a secure message will be sent to you via NAB Internet Banking. You will then need to re-register for NAB Alerts.
- If your phone is lost or stolen, disable NAB Alerts, register your new phone number in NAB Internet Banking and reactivate your NAB Alerts for each account.
Steps to set up NAB Alerts
- Log into NAB Internet Banking.
- Open the Profile & Settings menu.
- Select NAB Alerts.
- Select your eligible account from the drop-down menu.
- Select the type of alerts you want to set from the list. You can choose balance alerts, payment reminders and funds transfers alerts.
- To create a payment reminder, select the check box and the number of days before your payment date you would like to receive your reminder.
Steps to disable or cancel NAB Alerts
- Enter your 8 to 10-digit NAB ID, enter your password and select Login.
- Open the Profile & Settings menu.
- Select NAB Alerts.
- Select Change Alerts and select your eligible account from the drop-down menu.
- Select the alert type you want to cancel or disable and select ‘None’.
- Tap Save alert settings.
- If you’re cancelling or disabling alerts for more than one account, you’ll need to save your changes before you select the next account.
