How to get started with NAB Now Pay Later

Make sure you meet these criteria before you apply for NAB Now Pay Later.

Step 1 – Open a NAB bank account

To use and make repayments with NAB Now Pay Later, it needs to be linked to a NAB Classic Banking account. If you don’t have an account, you can easily open one in NAB Internet Banking or the NAB app.

If you’ve already got a NAB everyday bank account, make sure it’s active. It’s important that you use your account regularly, for example by depositing your salary and spending in-store and online.

You can link your everyday bank account to a NAB Visa debit card. This will give you the freedom to use you card anywhere Visa is accepted, as well as the flexibility to manage your money wherever you are.

Step 2 – Confirm you’re over 18 years old

NAB Now Pay Later is only available to NAB customers aged 18 years or older.

Step 3 – Check your details

Ensure your contact details, such as your address, phone number and email, are correct. You can check and update your personal details in NAB Internet Banking and the NAB app.

Step 4 – Check your credit history

We’ll do a credit check when you apply for NAB Now Pay Later. Any issues, such as an alert on your profile or a history of defaulting on payments, mean you might not be approved.

Download the latest version of the NAB app

NAB Now Pay Later is available in the latest version of the NAB app. You can download the NAB app from the App Store or Google Play.

Once you have the app, you can log in and apply for NAB Now Pay Later.
