Cathryn commenced as NAB Group Executive, Corporate and Institutional Banking (C&IB) in July 2024. In a career spanning more than 30 years, Cathryn has extensive, global experience in capital markets, corporate finance, wealth, and institutional banking.

C&IB is a global business with teams across Australia, Asia, UK, Europe and the US. Under Cathryn’s leadership, C&IB’s relationship and banking specialists provide market-leading expertise to publicly listed companies and large privately owned corporations to support their unique and sophisticated banking needs.

Cathryn is a purpose-driven leader and spokesperson on critical issues including climate transition, affordable and social housing, indigenous business, and women in leadership. She’s also the Chair of NAB’s Affordable Housing Council. Cathryn has a passion for building client advocacy through meaningful relationships, mentoring colleagues and aspiring leaders, and is a champion for inclusive and diverse workplaces.

Since joining NAB in 2016, she has held senior executive roles focusing on corporate and institutional markets and leading NAB’s C&IB relationship banking team. Prior to this, Cathryn held leadership roles at ANZ, Westpac and Macquarie Bank.

Cathryn is the Chair of the Board of JBWere and a member of Chief Executive Women. Cathryn holds a Bachelor of Economics and Finance from Curtin University.
