Sharon Cook is Group Executive, Customer and Corporate Services and General Counsel of NAB. She joined NAB in April 2017.

Sharon is responsible for Corporate Affairs, Customer Complaints, Customer Hardship, Governance, Legal, the Office of the Customer Advocate, Regulatory Affairs, Remediation, and Climate.

Sharon has more than 30 years of experience as a lawyer. Before joining NAB, Sharon was Managing Partner, Clients at King & Wood Mallesons, where she was on the Australian leadership team and responsible for execution of the law firm’s client and sector strategy. Prior to this, Sharon was the Managing Partner of Henry Davis York responsible for the leadership, strategic direction and overall management of the firm's business. Before joining Henry Davis York, Sharon was at King & Wood Mallesons and Herbert Smith Freehills (in London).

Sharon brings a unique combination of skills and experience including deep customer understanding and care, business acumen, operational excellence, strategic prowess and legal knowledge.

Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Sydney. Sharon is also Chair of the NSW Law & Justice Foundation.
