Sharon Cook was appointed Group Executive, Legal & Commercial Services in April 2017. Sharon has more than 30 years of experience as a lawyer.

As Group Executive, Legal & Commercial Services, Sharon is responsible for Legal, Governance, Regulatory Affairs, Customer Complaints, the Office of the Customer Advocate, Customer Remediation and Corporate Affairs at NAB.

Before joining NAB, Sharon led major commercial law firms. Most recently, Sharon was Managing Partner, Clients at King & Wood Mallesons Australia, where she was on the Australian leadership team and responsible for execution of the law firm’s client and sector strategy. Prior to this, Sharon was the Managing Partner of Henry Davis York. In this role, she was responsible for the leadership, strategic direction and overall management of the firm's business. Before joining Henry Davis York, Sharon was at King & Wood Mallesons and Herbert Smith Freehills (in London).

From this experience, Sharon brings a commercial and strategic approach to complex issues.

Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Sydney. Sharon is also Chair of the NSW Law & Justice Foundation.
